In 2008, Bryan Wrigley created the Lotus Company with creativity, collaboration and innovation at the forefront of his vision for this Wasatch Front-focused development organization. Guided by this high-minded ethos, Lotus quickly became synonymous with best-in-class multifamily development projects, marrying inspiring design with premium locales and accessibility to amenities both on and off-property. To expand upon this initial vision of creating extraordinary value in spaces often overlooked, Mr. Wrigley founded Lotus Craft in 2019. Lotus Craft is the branded-hospitality arm of the organization and currently includes craft beer brewing, small-batch distilling and premium coffee roasting, as well as restaurant and bar ownership and management. This union of signature residential real estate and hospitality under one roof seeks to further the Lotus philosophy of creating gathering spaces where connections are built and bolstered, or quite literally creating community through craft.
Prior to forming Lotus Company, Mr. Wrigley spent the first 20 years of his career working with organizations including a NYSE-traded shopping center real estate investment trust, a leading Western-regional multifamily property investment and development company, and a New York City-based boutique development partnership focused primarily on preeminent residential properties. Through these opportunities, Mr. Wrigley cultivated a diverse skillset in executive and project management, as well as thoughtful design. To date, Mr. Wrigley acted as principal or principal advisory in over $600M worth of acquisitions, dispositions and financings.
Mr. Wrigley was recognized by Utah Business magazine as 40 under 40, additionally receiving the 2013 Most Outstanding Project award in the multifamily category by Utah Construction and Design. He is a full member of the Urban Land Institute where he frequently serves as a panelist on small scale and multifamily development-related topics. Mr. Wrigley also serves as an Honorary Commander for the 388th Fighter Wing – Maintenance Group at Hill Air Force Base and on the Salt Lake Chamber of Commerce Board of Governors.
Mr. Wrigley holds a Masters degree from Columbia University with an emphasis in real estate development and a Bachelors degree in economics from the University of Utah where he was a member of the University Honors Program and the Gamma Beta chapter of the Beta Theta Pi fraternity. Mr. Wrigley also completed graduate Japanese language studies at Cornell University.
Mr. Wrigley’s passion extends outside of professional life with his three beautiful children, enjoying quality time in whatever form life affords, but most notably travel and sharing his love of exploration. He has worked in or traveled to more than 25 countries including South Korea where he taught English in Seoul, serving as a religious missionary in Kobe, Japan, and completing a research fellowship with city planning in Shinshiro City, Japan.
