Bryan Wrigley | Founder & CEO
Bryan Wrigley, founder of The Lotus Company, is a visionary leader in multifamily development along the Wasatch Front. With a focus on creativity, collaboration, and innovation, he established Lotus as a leader in the industry. In 2019, he expanded the organization with Lotus Epicurean, offering epicurean culinary and beverage experiences.
Bryan's success stems from his commitment to building relationships with municipalities, communities, enterprise stakeholders, and other creatives. With over 23 years of experience in executive management, project management, capital investment and design, he has overseen acquisitions, dispositions, and financings totaling over $1.6 Billion. Recognized with awards such as Utah Business 40 under 40 and Most Outstanding Project in multifamily development, Bryan is an active member of the Urban Land Institute, serving as a panelist on development topics.
He also contributes to the community as an Honorary Commander for the 388th Fighter Wing – Maintenance Group and a member of the Salt Lake Chamber of Commerce Board of Governors. Bryan holds a Masters in real estate development from Columbia University and a Bachelors in economics from the University of Utah. Beyond his career, he enjoys exploring over 25 countries and shares his passion for travel and cultural experiences with his three children.
Rick Watson | Chief Financial Officer
Rick’s accomplished career includes 27+ years of experience in accounting, financial management and analysis, private investor and banking relations, and property acquisition and management in a wide variety of industries. This experience has cultivated a unique breadth and depth of technical knowledge that has resulted in remarkable achievements.
During his time in these industries, Rick has grown a construction and development company from $10 million in revenue and 25 employees to $250 million in revenue and 180 employees. In one year, Rick put into place over $200 million in financing facilities. His ability to create value and bring results make him an invaluable member of the Lotus team.
James MacQueen | Chief Operating Officer
James MacQueen joined the Lotus Team in 2024 bringing over 30 years of institutional real estate and banking experience. Prior to joining Lotus, Mr. MacQueen has held several executive positions with investment companies and financial institutions overseeing, accounting, acquisitions, asset and property management, development, finance, operations and investor relations.
In his role as Chief Operating Officer, Mr. MacQueen is focused on corporate
administration, asset & property management, investor relations and investment management. It has been through hands on experiences that James has developed a deep understanding of how to effectively maximize property operations, anticipate and manage down cycles, and formulate long-term portfolio strategies. James holds an MBA in finance and real estate from Rice University and a Bachelor’s in economics and history from Duke University. Mr. MacQueen is passionate about Utah’s year-round mountain sports; cycling, hiking and skiing.
Bryan Wroten | President of Construction
Bryan's fascination with construction began during his high school summers spent installing fences, igniting a lifelong passion for building. Over the past two decades, he has honed his expertise in managing complex construction projects, ranging from school remodels and fire stations to large multi-family developments and assisted living facilities.
Employing a real-time collaborative approach, Bryan has consistently delivered successful outcomes, emphasizing teamwork and system refinement. As a key member of the Lotus General team, he brings visionary leadership, driving projects to fruition with precision and excellence. In addition to being the President of Construction at The Lotus Company, Bryan also serves as the President of Lotus General, The Lotus Company’s in house construction power-house.
Beyond his professional pursuits, Bryan finds joy in reading, playing golf, and exploring new adventures alongside his wife, Angela.
Chuck Hollis | Lotus Southeast Managing Director
Chuck has been involved in Real Estate and entrepreneurial endeavors from a very young age. He earned his Bachelor’s degree in Finance and Real Estate at the University of Central Florida, and prior to graduation, was recruited by the Centex Corporation, where he was instrumental in the development of various master planned communities in the Orlando area. In that role, Chuck gained knowledge and proficiency about how to drive development results through the execution of an efficient construction cycle.
Having moved to Peoria, IL in 2005, Chuck joined the team at a boutique Real Estate Development and Venture Capital firm. Notable within their portfolio, a large 7 parcel assemblage, mixed use re-development, and the conversion of a 56 mile freight rail line to a hiking/biking trail. With full responsibility over the company's real estate assets, the firm prospered significantly through a challenging economic landscape. Under Chuck's leadership, the portfolio grew to include senior housing, student housing, and other multi-family assets.
In 2016, the opportunity presented itself to return to Orlando. Since that time, he has been involved, as a principal, in the development of over 1,100 apartment units, as well as commercial property, with a market value of approximately $300,000,000.
Since 2009, Chuck has held the Certified Commercial Investment Member designation. His professional affiliations in the community include the UCF Real Estate Council, Central Florida District CCIM and CREW Orlando. Philanthropic endeavors include service with various agencies that focus on helping kids thrive to achieve their greatest potential.
Chandler Leetzow | Vice President of Finance
Chandler Leetzow with almost 20 years of experience in Finance, Accounting and Business Management, joined the Lotus team in 2018. Prior to his tenure at Lotus, Mr. Leetzow held various advisory and executive positions overseeing operations, financing, accounting, and investment management functions. Mr. Leetzow brought a passion for creation and financial acumen that matched the Lotus spirit.
Since his start at Lotus Mr. Leetzow has Led teams in underwriting, acquisitions, financing, capital management and investors relations. In this capacity Mr. Leetzow has held a key role in the Company’s expansion and focus on institutional real estate development and asset management. His position as Vice President of Capital Strategies oversees the strategic raising and placement of capital into various projects, ventures, and new markets.
Chandler holds a Bachelor of Finance from the University of Utah. When he is not passionately pursuing strategies at Lotus, Mr. Leetzow is exploring the world, fishing, and creating art of his own. His travels have landed him on all seven continents, and he continues the search for his next trophy fish.
Adam Hughes | Vice President of Operations
Adam has cultivated unique operational abilities through over twenty plus years of project management experience spanning accounting, economic development, and real estate. His skills include aligning City staff and leadership with community investment and development opportunities, implementing collaborative solutions to overcome development impediments, and executing critical path project-level management. He excels in executing development theses, fostering team collaboration and professional growth, and integrating enterprise systems for streamlined project coordination.
Earlier in his career, Adam attained professional credentials as a Certified Professional Accountant and Certified Economic Developer. His extensive involvement in various real estate facets, such as property and asset management, acquisitions, leasing, brokerage, and development, underscores his expertise. Currently, Adam oversees the development team, managing $740 million worth of projects across three states, comprising 2,094 units under development and construction.
Lindsey Forbes | Director of Administrative Services & Lotus Relations
With 10 years of experience in administrative leadership, Lindsey is known throughout Lotus for her ability to build strong relationships, manage resources effectively, and deliver results that consistently exceed expectations. Her constructive mindset, coupled with a genuine passion for people, make her the driving force behind the cultivation of a positive and empowering work environment at Lotus. Through a deep understanding of organizational dynamics and a keen insight into human behavior, Lindsey implements initiatives that promote collaboration, creativity, and well-being of employees. Lindsey is dedicated to creating a workplace where every individual feels valued, respected, and inspired to reach their full potential.
